Mango Racing is based in BondiBeach, Sydney Australia, Mango has been designing, shaping and building surf skis, wave skis, rescue boards, malibu long boards and paddles and also doing repairs in Australia for the past 30 years as a hobby. Professionally Mango is an international risk manager in environmental science & technology and occupational health & safety management and carries double masters degree in these fields. Mango has been competing in ocean surf ski races and surf life saving competitions around the world since 1970. He is well known in surf life saving movement as a state, national, international and world surf life saving official. Mango was former captain of Bondi Surf Life Saving Club and has completed 30 years of active surf patrols on world famous Bondi Beach.
Mango was instrumental in introducing womens surf board riding, malibu long board riding, short boardriding for masters competitions in Australia as part of Australian Surf Life Saving Championships, since 1996. Mango’s input and contribution into surf board riding in Australia has assisted many young aspiring surfers become world class competitors and international professional surfers.
Mango has joined forces with his mates from Knysna Racing Paddles, South Africa to produce well known surf skis, kayaks and world class paddles. They now supply world class surf skis, kayaks, paddles around the world. Mango is part of the technical and design team to build quality surf skis, kayaks and paddles.
